Fiesta Zetec S TDCI Remap

I've been looking into getting my 07 plater Zetec S TDCI remaped for some time now, however i have been unable to get any real feedback on if its worth it or not.

So, does anyone have one of the above cars and is anyone able to recommend a company to approach?

1.6 90 bhp Mk Vi
1.6 88 bhp Mk Vii
or 1.4 67 bhp

??

Seeing as it's a 2007 Zetec-S is going to be the 90BHP MK6.

Yea its the MK6, 88BHP varient, its the same engine in the CMAX apparently.

An 88BHP derv sounds like a complete dog but the torque seems to atleast make the power feel more of a surge than a dribble.

If it's the MK6 then it has to be the 88bhp TDCI unit, just confused as to why the MK6 is listed as 90bhp in your system, maybe it's 90PS?

As per parkers the MK6 makes 88BHP.

Mine is 90PS. I presume its the same engine.

Ok, its most probably down as a 90PS engine. Right, i noticed there was a link for the Bluefin - is this actually worth it compared to a proper rolling road job?

A PS is about 0.98HP.

I think manufacturers just do it to make their cars sound just that bit more powerful.

Eg// Vectra 120PS, Fiesta 120PS, Mondeo 130PS, Golf 130PS etc etc.

90PS is 88HP

Sell get a Fiesta ST? You will see a claimed 28 BHP using Superchips.

The car is used for a 65Mile a day commute so the 28-30ish MPG the ST would produce is just insane, that coupled with insurance.

Would love an ST, but it would need a supercharger to be worthwhile over a Clio 182 TBH.

You will need more than just a superchip to get an extra 28bhp.

Mountune own ST185 package has, induction kit, performance exhaust, high flow cat, tubular manifold, uprated cams and valve springs plus a remap to give 185bhp.

I bet that totals way over £1,000! A lot of money for 35hp!
