is F@H working on my computer?

hey, just followed the instructions at the top of the forum section and the client is running as CPU usage is at 100% with F@H using 99%. I downloaded fahmon to check on the progress and there has been no progress for over 20 minutes now :confused:

it may be that i have a rubbish computer (in sig) and that it is taking forever.

The fact that the CPU's at 100% shows it's running fine. I don't know if Fahmon automatically updates WU progress or not though, so do it manually - Clients > Reload All (or just press F6) to see if that shows any progress.

In FahMon click on View and click Show/Hide FahLog. That should tell you what it is doing.

Yeh just check on it and it is now at 1% so it's working thanks for the f6 refresh and to view the log

FahMon should update automatically - There is I believe an option somewhere in the settings to change the refresh rate.

thats how many points per day you will get

You should come up here within 3 hours of finishing your first work unit (once you reach 100%)

3% done, but my PPD has gone down to 86.79!! from 96.29 :cool:

which was rubbish but c'mon i really need a new computer

haha i already knew that I am getting a rubbish PPD lol, gonna get a new comp when this 7 year old dell gives up the ghost

and hopefully running it at 100% for a few days may result in it overheating and frying the insides

wish i could, its a dell laptop and I'm completely locked out of the bios

tried to overclock through windows but it just crashes, so I'm sitting here with a single core @ 1862 MHz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
