Oops, yeah - As the sentence might of given away anyway, Solaris is right - I meant Id be against learning with a Raven. He is also right about the other points - Ferox makes an exceptionally good sniper boat also.

Im just trying to be efficient with my skills because they take FOREVER to train. I guess i should try and join the 101st corp mentioned earlier in the thread.

Yeah dude, join Space Marine Acadamy, they will get you up to speed. And then you can come play with the Gentlemen in space... ;)
 
Looked at my kills the other day and my only loss since shipping out to 0.0 was to six Libertas Fidelitas guys, three of which we're space marines

Looks like that was a roam between us and smegnet (our closest allies) in Immensea which isn't NRDS like providence.

Oh, just checked and doesn't help that your alliance is Kill On Site to the provibloc which could only have been caused by a grievance in the past.
 
Embarrisingly im having trouble locating 101st marines despite going to their website. What region are they located so i can use the ingame search thingy.
 
Solaris, are SM Academy recruiting atm? I've reactivated my 26mil combat pilot, Nisse, so I'm looking to get going again. Used to be a reasonable player, but the amount of change in the last 4 years is huge, so I'm just getting back on my feet at the moment. Currently cruising around in a T2 fitted Raven.

0.0 pvp would be nice, as long as the support infrastructure is good - I got sick of my last corp not being able to supply spare ships to our bases in 0.0 when I got wtfpwned, so I would be sat around in a station for ages... :(

Funny you should say that, I was chatting to some corp mates and their opinion of the Cerb and Eagle were pretty low - good for range but nothing up close.

I'm curious to hear their redeeming features as I'm a week away from Caldari Cruiser 5 and have no idea quite what I should aim to start flying. I'd heard good things about the Onyx, though that means dessie 5 (which I'd imagine is one of the 25 day skills) or possibly a Falcon/Rook - but I've no experience of ECM yet (not that I couldn't learn.)

The other option is to start training Gallente/Minmatar and get into something suitable...any thoughts?
 
If anyone remembers/cares I fixed my agent problem... after training up connections one more level my standings jumped up by almost 3x (to roughly what they should have been) rather than the 4% the skill gives, dunno what happened must have been some game bug, got to L4 missions in less than a week from that point :D
 
I resubbed and all the training missions are there for me again, bit annoying really they keep popping up.

I'm kind of stuck doing Lvl1 missions and training but don't seem to advance, well Isk does.

Just about getting my feet again, realised this was my 'Alt' character but not too worried at the mo, might resub the other account once I get grounded again.

Finally got yourself out into 0.0 then Daz :D

Just downloading the client now, will sub up when I get an evening off from the GF and drop you a msg ingame.

Any good changes in the last expansion ? Haven't played since middle of last year :rolleyes:
