3.0Ghz --> 3.2Ghz

The Tuniqs were pretty decent coolers IIRC, although not in the same league as the TRUE. If you can get it for the right price though, worth a punt.

It is a bolt down cooler too, which is much better than that push pin disaster!

Oh and to get the push pins in, work diagonally, but it really is a terrible solution. When installed take a look at the warp on your motherboard and you'll see why :eek:

I got a Tuniq from MM for £15 so can't complain.
It was the biggest hassle ever to get installed as you have to put it down exactly where it needs to go and not move it and then put thumbscrews in, or are you allowed to slide it around?
Anyways, my idle has dropped from around 50 to 32, so mega happy, but some of this is because the Arctic paste had dried out and had an empty patch and a new case (p182).

Once I get the panels on this case, I will try to clock to 3.4, which shouldn't be hard now. :)

Sounds great! Don't be afraid to twist that Tuniq a little bit. It will help spread the paste out and remove any air pockets. :)

My updated OC with the above mentioned Tuniq tower :)

Just another update:

I think this is where I will leave it long term as in the Summer it will obviously get warmer and don't want to have to keep messing about.

Is it better to have the memory at stock or should I go for 800 and tighter timings? Every time I have tried anything tighter than 5-5-5-18 it won't post. Is there anything I can do?

Its OCZ 1066 reapers.
