Which xbox 360 racing game to buy

My girlfiend has an xbox 360 and would like to buy a racing game. I have never owned a consol so have no idea what to buy here.

Can anyone show me the light?

My girlfriend seems to love Forza 3! Big shock.

She's doing pretty good in career mode, gradually turning the assists off.

I think she enjoys custom painting the cars and applying pretty decals the most though

I found Need for Speed Shift superb on the 360. Hated the PC version, couldn't get on enough with the PS3 version, 360 version was near spot on.

I tried to get back into Forza 3 last week but I never seem to meet people on it that actually want to race. They seem more content with ramming everyone off the track.

This is why I have half given up with online stuff. WipEout got boring because most people quit in the first lap or 2 when getting beaten badly.

For £25 nowadays you can get Forza 3 and PGR4, both amazing games, aimed at different market but you can't go wrong with....BOTH!

I suppose that's like walking up to a group of hoodies on a street corner, wanting to have an intellectual conversation.

If you want good, clean racing then you should try looking on the official forum for people running championships. I'll be joining something like that when I get back into gaming anyway.
