I've not been here long, so thought i'd say hello as i'm starting to use this forum more and more over the last few weeks.
I'm a student at Nottingham Uni studying Computer Science and Management. The rest of my spare time is spent playing poker, I did this for a living last year. I just wanted to say hi, and say what a great community this is as people are actually helpful throughout the hardware sections etc and have helped me no end with sorting out problems with my new build!
I only visit two other forums, thestudentroom and PKR.com's own forum, both of which have a fairly high level of abuse, so it's good to see as i've not come across anything nasty here.

can you tell me how to get more play tokens on PKR please...

read the rules on what to say.... and watch your sig some people are real anal about the KB...

There are a few people on here very into their poker.
In fact, there is a weekly (most weeks anyway) game organised for forum members.
Read here.

I'm a student and I truly can't stand the studentroom, a forum where people have GCSE and A level results in their sigs, sickening :p

But then people think the same about PC spec sigs I guess ;)

It use to be a good forum and still is if you're looking for academic help / information. However as a general forum there are far too many trolls signing up and trolling.
