Yes, because banning them only means that only criminals have guns.
Considering I don't see the need for anyone to have them I don't have an issue with that.
Whilst I agree with Dolph, it surely was the initial acceptance of arms that got them in to the way of life they have now....ie gun crimes are rife....If they had implemented the sort of gun control that they have now earlier then surely they wouldn't have the problems they have now.The states in the US with the worst gun crime problems are also the states where gun control is heavily in place. (Eg Washington DC has both the worst violent crime rates in the USA, and the strictest gun control).
Banning guns is not an answer to the underlying problem though, the problem is society and the cure is not having guns banned
