Super Special Southern Meet of Ultimate Win (Hampshire Mini Meet) IV

Will hopefully have my steering wheel by the weekend although the HIDs might not have arrived by then. Always great thing showing off fancy lights in the middle of the day :D:D

I just hope there isn't a bout of rain. In the torrential rain on saturday I needed earplugs when I was in the car as it sounded like I was under a damn waterfall :)

Not an issue on your Rover surely, you need to hurry up and get that S3! When is it coming? :p

Gawd knows :p - I'd like to think at some point within the next 25 years :p

On a serious note I've paid off most of my debt now so I've started to put money aside for a new car :)

It is true, you choose to work and not come to the meet becuase you need the moneys.

Well saving for a new car and 2 holidays this year might have something to do with it :p

@ Booner :p Don't you realise that an integra can drive itself round corners it's that good.

Hope you get it this week Fox, looking forward to seeing it, and molesting it (a little). Mine needs some work as it is a little worn, but even if it had no leather left on it, the quality and look would still be better than the old OEM wheel on mine.

I just hope I don't blow my head off via Monsieur Airbag when I take the old one off :D

Got a nice steering wheel if anyone's interested, more at home in a Cortina but hey, it's real wood

Did my first modification to my car Saturday, I swapped the broken and annoying turn of the millennium phone cradle out of my centre armrest and put a blank oddments tray in there ...not bad for £18 and it's really cleaned the interior up and more importantly that stupid damn phone holder can't dig into my arm any more :) ...I thought it was rather better value than paying £60 for a whole new armrest top.

I'd like to clean stuff but it's raining. I did treat my leather with some Meguires leather care stuff yesterday ...but I need a touch of coloured restorer for a few bits really.

Hmm, could have cleaned my engine bay today but it's raining now :( Interior could do with a wipe-over, too. Oh well. Body's clean :D

I know its an old post but it sounds as though you live in Bromsgrove? I used to live there. :D

Yea, well very close ...technically not in Bromsgrove though. Hell I'd rather like to live in Canada though like you apparently do ...or half do as the case may be...I will actually be in Calgary for 2 weeks at the end of July, my uncle moved over there about a year ago now to join the Calgary police department, so I'll be staying with him for a bit and seeing some of Alberta at least.
