I'm trying to squeeze a bit more out my ATI Radeon 4850 which is running at stock speeds.

when I run the ATI overdrive feature in CCC all i get is a screen of rainbow coloured vertical stripes.

The card or PC does not lock up as I can hie esc twice and go back to the desktop etc.

I'm running the 10.3a preview drivers. I'll reload the 10.2's tonight to see if i get the same.

Is this normal for the overdrive feature or do I have card that is either faulty or not overclockable?

That's the clock testing tool..

Did you hit auto tune..?

The vertical stripes are normal. If you alt-tab back to CCC you'll see a Auto Tune dialog window and you can watch the core and memory clocks increase whilst it tests the configurations.

I'm running it at the moment, it's been going for a fair whilst now and it's is current on 780/945 (core/memory) at 90 degrees.
