*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Been booster hunting this afternoon.

Managed to get in to a match with two sets of boosters C4 and RPG soon sorted them out.

Then i followed one set in to every game until they went offline, I was called everything under the sun by the boosters but was backed up by the rest of the lobby - ohh what good times.

A quick tip boosters are great for getting the C4 multikill and denied chevos in the game.
 
I got a 26 kill streak today without intending on it. Been stuck on 17 for ages as im not really into camping. But I got stuck in the house on estate protecting a flag and people must have thought I was going for a nuke so their whole team came up trying to kill me.

In the end I ran out of bullets but managed 26 kills which is a personal best. Which was mostly gun kills as well lol

Not a booster, I was just giving a RL mate a tip that he can do on his own.

If you guys really want to know it, I'm sure it's pretty well known already, but at the beginning of a game on Quarry, if you're the team that spawns at the bottom of the map (south?), quickly run into the big warehouse, get onto the topmost walkway, climb onto the railing, and shoot everyone through the top row of glass windows as they run out of their spawn. Watch out for anyone that may be going up to the window across from you. Walla, at least 3-6 penetration kills with the glass before they shatter completely.

There, care to stop besmirching my good name now? :D

Oh wow what is it with glitched speed lobbies tonight. 10/12 games i joined were all glitched, one of them i just cruised round with an RPD on highrise went 35-17 haha. destroyed my accuracy a lot though.

Then went 26-0 without noticing on TDM on favela, got caught upstairs in the house near A flag (on dom) with a silenced RPD, mowed down everyone who came up. Was jokes as i had UAV, counter UAV and predator missile as my killstreaks.

You must admit your choice of words did make it sound like you were offering boosting services :p

I honestly never thought about going up there to shoot through the glass at people. Nice tip. I tend to smash glass as soon as I get to a window. Might help if i stop doing that :D

Re-reading it now does make it sound dodgy!

But yeah. It's a seriously good spot, especially if you're on.... whatever game mode it is that has an objective across there. Only game modes I can think of is Rush or Conquest, too much Bad Company 2 methinks!

I was almost reluctant to give away my secret on OcUK, but this lot have helped me quite a few times, so why not?
 
i have had it with MW2 this game that costs £55 then there charging 1200ms points for a map pack you will "need"! 1200ms points for just new maps no new guns, no new achievements just maps! not even any new game times like a unranked list so we can play with guests.

however with halo 3 DLC we get new achievements, vehicles, objects and maps! for just 800ms points, so why is the cod DLC 1200ms we can buy a hole game of XBL for that!

The severs on cod always seam to lag/crash not work end halfway in a game, never had the same with problems with halo! last night 4/4 games were glitched speed lobbies that messed up my a long with a lot of other peoples score!

but becuase this is cod they will still be selling the game in the millions and the same with the DLC.

there rant over...XD

Ok this is just getting ****ing ridiculous. In the past 30 minutes joined 6 domination, 4 TDM, 3 S+D and 2 HC S+D. Out of all those only 1 domination and a S+D game werent speed lobbies.
 
On xbox? Is it really getting that bad? I had a game over the weekend and had no problems.

Microsoft really need to sort out all this hacked crap. It is a joke.
 
Yeah on xbox. May have just been unlucky as it wasnt as bad this morning, only about half were glitched.
It's stupid though because in the majority of them not a single person has gone positive k/d, and its not remotely fun when you cant even navigate the map.

Yeah I must have played at least 3 games in a row (free for all) and all hacked. Admittedly it is a really easy way to get your Marathon and Lightweight perks up to pro.
