Anybody else doing the LifeHack Early Riser Challenge?

5:30 start every week day and 7:30 weekends

and I agree I get the majority of work completed early morning and work on in the afternoon

There's always something to do....on the internet at 6am =)

Jokes aside, I have an extended shower, and by that I don't mean any saucy stuff, just stand in the shower and think about the day ahead, make plans, gather my thoughts etc then exit relaxed and refreshed.

I will also watch a TV show if a new episode has been released the night before, takes a few minutes to acquire, usually prefer something funny like The Daily Show or Family Guy. Good way to start the day!

I don't have to leave the house until 8am at the earliest anyway, get to work by 8:25 and have 30 odd minutes to cruise about and relax some more before starting work.

And even then work is relaxed itself :p

I wake up around 6 every morning, but our little boy isnt very discriminate when he gets up and its not unheard of for me to be up at about 4:30 - 5 in the morning.

What i dont understand is how the OP set a target of 6:00am and got up at 7:30?

Granted i didnt read the lifehack website, so apologies if i have missed a fundamental part of this little experiment.

I'm not sure what the challenge is. If I need to get up at whatever time I set the alarm and get up when it goes off?

It's called being a pussy, get up you lazy oik :p:D

OK you got me, but what can I say?

Some of us don't find getting up early easy. If it was that simply they wouldn't have called it the LifeHack challenge!
