Best way to Backup High Def Video Footage

I just got int High Def Videoing ready for out new born... What the best way to keep it all backed up without losing the quality?

the same way that you would back up any data..

copy it to another hard drive or two..

I can vouch for the WDTV - I have the "Live" version and so far its been flawless at playing back all types of HD footage from my Panasonic SD9!!

No problem getting one to write disks though, toast on OSX will write bluray and Lacie make a good drive. If you want to play them back on OSX you'll need to burn them as data disks and just them for storage for now but it's a reasonable cost high capacity external storage medium.

It's that or external hard drives (and that's not a bad option for cost per Gig)
