I can get people in 1 hit on boats jetskis etc in non hardcore you just have to get used to aiming in the right spots like 1 inch to the left right of where you are going to be when the bullet arrives.I think anywhere upper chest or above is 1 hit kill with m95 sniper rifle.

m95 is a beast.

Cant believe they still haven't fixed team balance how hard can it be to not allow someone to swap teams if one side has more players

Pretty sure that's a bug, although may well be a hack, I just know it's a bug cause I've had it happen to me where I've spawned in the enemys camp. I heard it's something to do with switching teams before you've died, such as switching to help balance when you start a new round after having played on the other team first.

On another note, tried out some front line Recon play instead of being the rear support sniper. I've found it's really enjoyable and I find myself being extremely useful due motion sensors for the front line and C4 to take out tanks. I only really get about a 0.75 KD/R, the KD/R figure doesn't really concern me, it's more than I feel I'm using too many tickets. Setup tends to be Saiga / 1911 / C4 / Magnum ammo / Body Armor / Motion Sensors... had the occassional odd "unload a full clip into someone and not kill them" moments which is annoying, also having the unfortunate luck of running into a Medic with an M60 and magnum ammo :p

3 CTDs tonight, only had 2 before that since release :( Oh well, at least the servers are more stable now.

Been playing this for a few days now, have learnt the conquest/rush maps. Have to say rush is my favourite game type, it feels like an epic battle, whereas conquest doesn't so much as you are capping the same points over and over.

I can't get over the fact that the environment is so destructible, its great to be able to clear a path through buildings etc.

I used the UAV for the first time earlier, and although i could get the missile to fire, I didn't seem to be able to use the machine gun, what is the default keyboard button for it?

you need to unlock and then equip the alt weapon add on, then you can right click the mouse button for the machine gun :)
 
thanks for the kick guys, uv and frenchtart, like i said it wouldnt let me switch, previous round i CTD and it put me on the wrong side(should add it was the winning side that it put me on,) so i switched to my side, and when you asked it said try again in a few minutes, like i say thanks for the kick

No problem. Just shout when you need another.

Unfortunately it's quite hard to see all the replies when you're trying to alt tab between the game and the admin interface and still actually play.

Not at all.

If you don't like the way the server is managed then you're obviously free to play elsewhere.

I would have hoped that you'd be a little more forgiving of 'unreasonable' kicks though - it's actually not that easy to try and pay attention to two/three program windows and 20-30 people on the server, along with all the various messages about people killing each other.

I would have hoped you would have been more forgiving aswell , instead of just kicking, as if inbalance isnt on all servers, as soon as i could i would have switched, the first time i tried i even went running up the road to the enemy team so i would die.

As has been stated before in this thread (but fair enough if you missed it) - we try to work as quickly as possible to sort out team balance. I get tons of people ignoring polite requests to switch teams all the time. Unfortunately I missed your response this one time so you got kicked needlessly. Previously people have taken it on the chin and rejoined. If that doesn't work for you, no prob.
