Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone on here started a business during the recession? I'm conducting a map of affects on the recession on Entrepreneurship and need a few people to complete a survey.

Are you using Chrome? I've heard of issues with this.

Also I'm seeing your results here, you put construction as option? Looks like it went through, you also put future as "Tough going but ultimately succesful." ?

Using firefox.
I entered industrial and then wrote construction
in the option box
And yup....that sounds like my post bud

Has anyone started their own small retail business recently? If so, out of curiosity what were the rough startup costs?

Depends entirely on the company and products!
You can register a compeny for £20-30.

Online is cheaper. I had to fork out for Dymo printers, packaging equipment etc. I invested around £2000 last year and am now turning over around twice that per month.
