Recently started listening to their new album and I really love it. On all the time in the car now and have no idea how I hadn't heard any of their previous stuff. :)

I prefer their earlier stuff, but its still not a bad album. The Radio version of Mic Check is much better though, with the ripgroove sample. No idea why its not on the album :(.

Listening to those videos just then, they've actually moved away a lot from their original grindie sound.

Reminds me of Fake Blood or Bloody Beetroots more now.

I quite liked the first Hadouken song I heard, but all the follow ups sounded very samey, almost recycled...
Oh the Skins generation.

Grindie is the worst form of music, ever. Posh kids doing grime? No thanks.
Grindie? I thought it was just a skit that was on The Milk Run a few years back, I remember that episode featured Lethal Bizzle who quite liked it... :D I'll have to see if I can find it again...

Yeah I'll agree with that, apart from the fact The BB's are actually worth listening to.

I got dragged to one of their gigs in Bristol as a chaperone a while back, spent the night getting wasted and staring at 16 year old girls in fluorescent tutu's and not much else, however their music I found painful to listen to, the vocals are so adolescent it's scary and yet they seem to take it seriously, they could make some really good music if they dropped it.

They have gotten better, they seem to have dropped the indie sound for a much more electronic one but they still have the stupid vocals which just ruin the effect.

Grindie is a genre.. Grime + Indie.
Yep I know that... :p In the late 90's there was a comedy show on R1 called the Milk Run, and it was surprisingly good.

In one of the episodes, one of the comedians entered a rap battle and decided to coin the term 'Grindie' and rap about middle class things like running out of dips. :D The guy at the time said it was a combination og grime and indy... :p The whole thing was a **** take, but it was quite funny as some of the rappers went with it including Lethal Bizzle. I'll have to see if I can dig up a youtube clip if I can.

The fact that Grindie has actually gone on to become a serious genre itself is even funnier, this is the first time I've heard of the parody being around before the real thing...

Do kinda like them, then I saw the videos and an interview with the band and the singer is a prize ****!

I had the pleasure of seeing them live, oh wait did I say pleasure?

The lead singer is a complete ****ing ****. Average gig.

Indeedy.

Posh kids should stick to doing posh people things, like hunting the common people on horse back. :p

I like Hadouken, their new album For The Masses is pretty good :) Music For An Accelerated Culture is better though. Saw them at the Wolves Wulfrun last year and thought they were good live, but the crowd there was soooooo young! i was probably the eldest there (27 at the time)

I remember hearing an older songs of theirs and thinking it sounded like kids doing a poor rendition of Pitchshifter. This stuff reminds me of Bring Me The Horizon's remix album (which, despite the fact I don't like any 'normal' BMTH, I really dig).

Saw them live in Feb, absolutely stunning band live. Their new stuff is just as good as the old album, quality.

Seen them live twice afew years back, such hype because of the song, That boy that girl, or something. I hate the fact that all these teenie bobbers are liking them now when they have been out for ages. They are getting less popular anyway and are slowly dieing

So they're liking them now and yet the band becoming less popular?

Does not compute.

And where does how long a band has been around for factor into when someone takes an interest in them. They could have been **** up till that point.
