Spain - Finally....
Just thought i would pass on my findings. My room is well ventilated and my pc is not on the floor - yet after only 4 weeks of use, when i came to replace my stock corsair fan with 2 Akasa Apaches in push/pull - the rad was almost completely covered in dust!
Just made me think how often does everyone on here check their rad for dust etc...
Me thinks gonna have to do it quite regularly!

Me = Thick!

Any recommendations on best ones or is a dust filter as good as the rest?

As for fans - i have them running at about 1100 - is that too much??? - I didnt think it would be enough?

Right now I have my fans running at 1000-1100rpm on the H50 instead of the 1600-1700 max to keep noise down a bit. Idling 26-30, 18 ambient with dust filters on. You should know from your temps and noise if your fan speed is fine.

I take my filters off every couple of weeks, brush them off with a random plastic brush I found and all good.

I really don't want to have to get at my radiator because its sandwiched into a stack of five fans and shrouds so the filters are pretty important :)

Same here 2200rpm For The Win @4.1Ghz :p

:D yup. Not sure what the rpm for max speed on the Antec Tri-cool is, but I'm on that (+ stock H50 fan). Probably need to clean it too as I have no dust filters on currently, but can't be bothered as watercooling stuff gets here this week ;)

My intake fans are filtered but it makes little difference in my house for some reason.

I just moved mine from the exhausting to the intake though so it may be better now. Will have to wait and see!

Not checked mine for about a year and a bit...temps started to get a bit high so must be getting a bit clogged.......

It's going to be even worse with a bigger radiator :p

:(
I'll just have to give it a dunk in a bowl of water every now and again. Although that might work for 10 minutes and then be worse. *ponders*
Maybe I'll borrow a pair of tights ;)
