No mouse acceleration issues here - you have acceleration disabled in the Windows CPL?

I'm using a Performance MX btw and had no issues in an MX Revolution either.

Vsync off. Vsync on always brings mouse lag in virtually all games with or without triple buffering I found which is why I only use it in games where the mouse is not used.

I still haven't been in a proper squad, and I don't even know which damn squad I'm supposed to be in?

I'm a bit of a ninja lone ranger and a baiter at the moment. :p

That vid that was posted a while back of someone who was meant to be dragshooting, from that all i seen was he was aiming at a different spot then pulled his crosshair to the target and fired. Hows that meant to stop you getting shot? Unless it can be done on the move i suppose.

Drag shooting is a general term for taking quick draw shots with little need for lining up your shots. The way it works is that you drag your crosshair across the targets head and shoot when the crosshair is over it; relies on good timing more than anything else. It's not necessary for you to be moving, it just happens to make it easier for you to not stay in one position for too long.

Not sure about you but when there's 5 or 6 snipers covering one small island with little cover, you don't have time to hang about and aim normally, so drag shooting allows you to get head shots without hanging about too long in one position.

On a good day I can firstly spot my target, run to cover, crouch, pop up and drag shoot the sniper and then crouch again and run to new cover. I keep repeating this untill all camping snipers are gone. The drag shooting means I only need to pop my head up for no more than a second :D

Are you really trying to say that that I of all people perhaps don't notice the issue that you do on your system and that I probably don't play many games?

You have an ATI card, more ATI users have had issues with this game than nVidia and I don't have any such acceleration issues you speak of neither do many other people.

Get your **** together!

I play many shooters including all the CoD games and I don't play with high mouse sensitivity, I play with stock mouse settings but in BC2 have dropped a notch on h/v sens~ because by default it was too fast based on my mouse.

Im going to say im sorry as i have finally discovered the issue. can anyone shed any light on this for me please. My fov settings were put to 75 soon as i changed it back to 55 mouse was normal???

Widescreen monitor?

The default FOV really is poor but no idea why that would have an affect on mouse acceleration though as neither are related to each other.

Sorry my mistake changing to dx 10 has actually caused the mouse movement to become horrid. if i have 2 aa hbao bloom 1920x1080 16af average fps of 70 its horrible. DX 9 no bloom or hbao 2aa 16af 55 fov view distance mouse turning smooth as anything? i dont get it. 70fps and not smooth??? monitor is 24" wide.

Turn off HBAO and leave it in DX10, HBAO causes mouse lag. As others have said earlier, it makes little visual difference but impacts performance greatly.

I turn off AA too personally. I just prefer to have my FPS as high as possible :)

Check out the post about configuring mouse settings for vehicle combat too. They help infantry mouse look also.

Ok so do some tests. i played a game in dx9 game was smooth as anything that was fully maxed out 1920x1080 with HBAO bloom 4AA 16af get like 100 to 120 fps.

DX 10 full maxed out mouse feels alittle smoother now fully maxed out with everything on. however DX 10 is causing the lines and flashing textures and mouse movement abit more harder. but better than before. Thats with fov at 75 and view distance full.
