I turn off AA too personally. I just prefer to have my FPS as high as possible :)

You shouldn'y have such a noob GPU.. 8xAA Edge has no noticeable slowdown over 2xAA on mine :P

I have to say I've noticed HBAO causing mouse lag, even when I'm 100fps+

however DX 10 is causing the lines and flashing textures

It's a crossfire issue, it happens on my X2 aswell.

The newest crossfire profile sorted out the flashing textures, but I still get lines now and then - and if I use highest settings with >2xAA, I get black box artifacts. Hopefully ATI will release a new crossfire profile for the game soon.

Turn off HBAO and leave it in DX10, HBAO causes mouse lag. As others have said earlier, it makes little visual difference but impacts performance greatly.

Did this made huge difference :) still some mouse acceleration its now playable though. Why does HBAO cause such issues even when im above 60fps constant? is it buggy?

Im going to say im sorry as i have finally discovered the issue

Next time, do not be so quick to question Bob "The Knowledge" Khan, for if you do, you should prepare for a schooling.

Sorry my mistake changing to dx 10 has actually caused the mouse movement to become horrid.

I have a 4890 and DX10 doesn't cause any graphical issues but it does take maps about 20 seconds longer to load than DX9. I have a high mouse sensitivity so didn't notice mouse input lag.

Eulogy (Hippos) also has a 4870X2 and he has the same issue with DX10 loadings against DX9. It seems that ATI do have a few issues to iron out to say the least.

I would definitely stick with DX9 as you probably won't notice much difference visually and it runs a bit better in my experience, especially for ATI users.

Aye, it's all good. My advice, for what it's worth, is stick with DX9 and the settings that give you the best FPS/Performance whilst not looking too horrific on the eye.

I'm sure ATI/Dice/EA will all get their game on soon and sort all the little niggles that are present in the game.

just had a couple of rounds, really suprised how many punkbuster bans/kicks have just been handed out, at least 15+ in a couple of rounds, mutihack and aimbot, one after another it was
