How much of your life do you spend on a computer?

I know i'm probably asking the wrong group of people really, but anyway...

Housemate asked me this yesterday. My answer was "too much" He then said i'm not joking, i'm worried, I reckon 80%. Another of his bent questions which he clearly knows the answer for.

I work all day in IT then get home, and go on pc for maybe 2 hours. Cook, exercise, maybe go out once a week in the week. Always out on sat night, sunday I usually go somewhere or on saturday recovery

I suppose its better than the warcraft crew who live on their PCs or couch potatoes who do nothing but TV all day

How much time do you think you spend on a PC?

7 to 8 hours during day.. Then some evenings. Too much really which I why i hit the Gym every day.. Gives me something physical to focus on.

All the bloody time. I'm at it from 9am to 6pm, then of course when I get up to check emails etc, and when I get home again, then I might watch a film on it, or play BFBC2.

Less if theres something going on with friends obviously, but I cant avoid the 9 hours of work each day.

Dont watch TV so I just spent that time on the PC/Laptop.

I'm the same as Huddy though and i'll go to the gym + I play football quite a lot so I get plenty of exercise.

Then my laptop is on from 6-30 - 11 or 12 at night, probably to much (13 hours a day).

Generally 11am-midnight/1am, take out ~2 hours for lectures and an hour to cook/eat per day.

Do watch TV + play xbox while sat at desk though. So need summer to come along so i can get back to the gym...

One of the reasons I want to go be a teacher - I want more interaction face to face, not sat facing a monitor all day.

9hrs at work every day sometimes less if im supporting sites, then upto 3hrs at home in evenings, every otherish friday a good 6-7hr session, then few hours over weekend.

Probably about 70-80% of the day. (10am-9pm on laptop). After those hours its just the iPod Touch for emails etc.

Most gyms I know are inside an air conditioned building.

3-4 hours a day! i only raid log for wow and mostly either out with my mates or out on my bike! or swimming! i only ever sit on PC for chill out time! i never watch TV and late in the evening i always watch a few films if the weather is crap and my mates are being boring!

i used to be really bad tho about 2 years ago! like 14 hours a day 6 days a week! but i finally got bored of that!

Just had a think. 168 hours in the week. Around 55 hours on a pc

37 hours at work
10 hours in week
8 hours at weekend

So 33%, which is more likely to be 30% due to holidays
