WOW!

Shame it's on Sprint, and American based, but still, this is the phone dreams are made of!

I know.

I give it 3-4 months before something else is out that completely changes everything.

You could just keep waiting and waiting for the latest phone, but you'll need to bite the bullet and just get something now. So as jealous as i am about this phone being released, i'm still more than excited about my soon to be Desire... We don't even know if the EVO will get a UK release!

Still.. The phone is a BEAST!

To be honest... i prefer the design of the Desire and Nexus. I think it will be a while yet before we actually have worthy upgrades for current gen phones.

Superewza, you know what? I agree agree. The Evo is a little too square and sharp for me. The Nexus and Desire look like they'd fit your hand better and feel a lot better also.

Indeed. Compared to the Desire for example, this just has slightly higher specs all round (larger screen, a bit more RAM etc.), which isn't really a huge upgrade when you think about it.

I wish they would concentrate on batteries instead of new technology. Imagine if we had phones like this that could last a week, full use, without needing charged?

Now that would be more awesome than anything I could possibly think of at this time.

why does this bother so many people? granted it would be cool, but do you live in a dustbin or something? Cant you just charge it nightly?

Because not everyone is next to a plug every night, or want to have to take their charger with them whenever they go anywhere.

It's all very well saying that if you do a 9-5 every day and only go on "holiday" for two weeks of the year, but not everyone is like that. :)

That phone looks sexy, I for one am waiting for the time they remove frames completely (or at least are about 1mm on each side) and just have the front entirely the screen. :D

This wont see the UK in this form, as I understand were not getting wi-max, nor do we use CDMA and EV-DO.

As others have said its nothing to get excited about.

Different lifestyles thats why, and no I don't always stay in a house. But its more that you forget to charge it realise you are going away for the weekend and can't charge it. Meaning your left on a train for 4-5 hours without a phone.

That's what ultra portable laptops + USB cables are for. :)

It actually has less RAM than the HTC Desire (512MB vs 576MB) it just has an extra 1GB of built in storage. A 4.3" screen is almost tablet size, going to be unwieldy and we don't have (and aren't going to get) WiMax in the UK, nothing to see here.
