Pentium 4 530 - crazy fan speed!

Hello chaps

A friend's CPU fan has recently started going mental spinning at 4,000 RPM and sounds like a hoover, not sure why

Idle temp in speedfan show CPU at ~54ºC, think this is probably OK for a P4 on stock cooling but what (other than dust buildup) could be causing the increased fan speed?

This tbh, I've lost count of the amount of stock p4 coolers I've had to clean out due to excessive dust build up.

P4 which is a very hot cpu + a bad fan = Needs a new cooler or a good clean.
