New car - Z4 M Roadster

Hill assist is actually quite useful from my brief use of it yesterday, bit strange to have it on an M though I agree! Although I don't trust it, because I am used to handbrake and manually finding the bite point etc

I'll be there Saturday (if I don't get lost) for those of you who want to have a gander, looking forward to it. Let's hope the weather is at least dry....

Nice car but not really something id get tbh...not a fan of the BMW Z cars...i think they are pretty fugly in all honesty and when i see one...usually its some blonde bint behind the wheel:p

But as long as your happy with it thats all that counts i suppose.

Droooooooools....

Perfect colour/leather choice, it's what I always had my heart set on as the next jump when I had the Z4.

Absolutely love that car in that colour and I can only imagine how good it sounds.

I need a passenger ride!

Did I mention that I hated you?

Now *that* is a nice car, and my favourite colour.

I wouldn't worry too much about it not having nav, it is cheaper to retrofit than on e46's if you want it - the screens seem to go for about £150 on ebay instead of over £300 for e46 ones. The only thing is cutting into the dash but I doubt it's hard. You can't really compare it to a TomTom to be honest as it's a lot more than navigation - certainly think about getting it, I wouldn't want to be without it on my Z4.

Thanks Mr Tommo. I loved your Z4, but your new motor looks pretty tidy too.

I will exchange a passenger ride for some flashy photos, little bit far from me though!

Grrrr.. I'd love to :(

If your ever up in/near the midlands let me know as there's no chance of making it down to a southern meet.

Looks very nice, shame it doesn't have satnav though!

Not really, Satnav does nothing for the Z4 interior and looks like an afterthought when fitted. It isn't like the E39/E46 where it transforms the look of the interior.

Love the exterior colour, interior colour is bit too dull for £20k though :p

Typical 'my (parents) Z4 doesn't have satnav' reply. ;)

I really like the fold up Z4 screen, it's in a lot better position than in the e46 or e39 which really ARE an afterthought.

Very nice, certainly on the "to buy" list for me.

I'm not so sure on the colour though but I guess that's just down to personal taste!

Great buy, I'd blag a ride if I was at the meet this weekend but the caribbean for 2 weeks is far more appealing ;)

Let us know the price, and have you sold the Z?

Really sweet little car which I'm sure you'll have some fun in.

One of my former colleagues had one of these and we spent a great couple of days one summer visiting stores in Cornwall with the top down. Got a great tan too!

I was expecting a rock-hard ride but it rode very well indeed, gripped and gripped and sounded awesome. Fuel economy isn't so good, in fact I get better mgp out of the supercharged 4.4l V8 in my B5 but it's a really fun ride with the top down. I'm a bit too tall to enjoy it with the top up.

Pre iDrive sat-nav in this isn't worth having imho and as Fox says sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb.

I've never seen one in red either. Look after it.
