Budget 2010

New tax information sharing agreements. I love how this will probably affect quite a few people sitting in that room, you just know they are quite gutted right now....

Oh yes, because wind turbines are the solution to powering this country long term and at a high percentage?
BULL****, what we need are nuclear stations (or clean coal)...

The only manure is the false dichotomy you're presenting. If there's one thing we can be certain about regarding energy, there isn't a singly solution. There is no reason why wind can't make a significant contribution (say 15-20%) within a decade, which is significantly more than nuclear has made in the last decade!

E has already said nuclear is going to be built. Renewable isgoing to pay a part though. If invested in we will be the for runner and bring much needed manufacturing jobs, which can be sold to the world. Renewable is a massive sector, which will only get bigger. We are in a great position to grab a big slice. But only if we invest.

Geee, MP's seem to be animals tbh.

I assume one of the three countries was the location of the conservative peer?

It seems Labour are also obsessed with getting more people into University, brilliant, so even more graduates can go and end up stacking shelves...

Entertaining maybe, not sure how you think it'll be important though!

It could potentially make or break their election chances this year...

The Belize tax agreement granted a chuckle from me :D.

Amp34 - The University thing is more engineering, maths and sciences; not media studies and other non subjects.

He is banking on using the higher revenues from banker’s bonuses and want s a green bank. Pass the sick bowl I’m not listening to this anymore.

You still pay MORE than you did the previous year though, doesn't matter if it's up by 1p 3 times or 3p one time - you are STILL paying more than you did before

Of course you are:confused:

But you will pay less than if it just went up 3p at once.

Unfortunately we don't manufacture wind turbines in this country any more...

However other renewable systems will be.

Yeah, Ashcroft is based in Belize. I doubt any of the agreements are with countries the several Labour Non Dom donors use. But best to ignore them.

But that's the budget plan 60 million to support manufacture in the uk of wind turbines. It is paltry but rember they will get money for building these new wind farms as well.
