Need Extra Monitor for Laptop and Future New PC

Hello everyone,

I have a dual setup at work and now I need it at home :D. I have a Dell XPS 1530 so I need the monitor to be able to extend the current screen BUT I will also be making a new build in about a month so that will also need it to work with (will purchase additional monitor during this order).

So guys what do you suggest? Budget is ... £150 could push it but I rather not ...
 
10+ views, come on guys I really want to order this stuff by mid day or when is the OcUK cut offtime for next day?
 
I've picked up a BenQ G2420HDBL 24" jobby, and it's lovely for the price :)

Should work OK with the Dell, no doubt it will support 1920x1080 output over the VGA as an extended desktop.
 
I was and am still consider the 21" version as 2 24" screens I think may be far too big!

The monitor doesn't have hmdi though will that be an issue with a pc?
 
Thanks, and the quality is just as good or is hdmi for a pc really that good? The 21" looks like :D I just need to know if it's compatible with my laptop and that's it!
 
Sadly the 21" is a proorder ... here are my options:

- LG E2250V 22"
- BenQ 24"
- Acer 243HLbmd 24"

Need to make the order quick so need help! All are LED and generallyy the same spec ...

Looks like the LG monitor is new, how are LG in general compared to other companies?
 
Sorry for te rush guys but the website says 4:30 is the latest so I've got little time.

I am stuck here between the LG and the BenQ!
