New wheels and another exhaust

And is the diffuser now at less of an angle? I wonder if that makes much difference to the aero.

I'd be more concerned by the pressure difference above the diffuser, where there would have been a solid plastic "wall" before there will now be an area of low pressure dragging air in above the diffuser.

I bet it's messing with the aero completely.

Another one for the "before" camp.

Stupid question: now that the exhaust is spitting fire right next to your paintwork instead of at the bottom by a plastic tray, is there any danger that it will eventually start to damage the paintwork?

What a lovely car, looks like a fantastic example and well cared for too.

However, I prefer both the wheels before and the exhaust. The exhaust looks half finished like something is missing. Looks unbalanced after seeing the exhaust in the middle too.

I really like the exposed exhaust and the rods/hangars holding the diffuser up, as mentioned, purposeful... would be nice if you could replace the middle strap behind the plate with something else a bit thinner, like two more rods.

Ideal world, full titanium exhaust at the back would look the nuts.

Love the new pipe, looks bordering on industrial, reminds me of the rear end treatment on Andy Burtons 306 Cosworth

Added a few bits to the car recently, new wheels wrapped in the new Toyo R1R's which should be loads better than 888's/A048 semi slicks if I get caught in a downpour.

And also another exhaust, must be the 4th one now but a totally different style 'GT3' from the Cadena Exige race cars from 2006. The rear panel that holds the number plate must be removed for this exhaust, looks much more aggressive and is actually a lot quieter to boot!

Only downside is a the back of the car now gets covered in black soot from the exhaust, still spits flames though ;)

Apologies for the filthy car in the latest photos, it will be clean for saturday I promise!

Neil.

I really love these cars, and nice 2bular!

I preferred how it was before. However it is still a beatiful car.

My sister is looking into getting an Exige. I'm abit unsure however - how is it to drive daily?
