I'm hating BC2 at the moment, last night the game just froze on me, I had to ctrl alt del out. just moments ago the same thing happened, except this time even ctrl-alt-del didn't work, nothing I could do to get out of BC2, it just froze and repeating the same 1 second of sound over and over.

never have I had a game with such a huge bug in it that could cause me to have to do a full system restart.

You think you have it bad, every time i jump onto a server and play for 20+ mins, BC tells me that its lost connection with the server. Since getting it yesterday and playing for the 4 hours I've only been able to stay once for 1h+

noow thats annoying.

But then all the nervous fan bois got in and practically accused the guy of being a hacker/virus spreader for not sending his code to one of their "trusted sources"

I havent tried it but feedback from that thread is good

The kills / time etc aren't being recorded for the M1 so I wouldn't use it yet till they fix it .

I think there was a bug where M1 kills were attributed to another weapon.

I've seen someone with bronze m1 garrand, it showed up when he killed me with it on a softcore server. I've killed at least 50+ people with it though, no recorded kills or time used.

Can someone do me a quick favour and tell me what the current version of the game is? Appears on the bottom right hand corner when it starts. Mine's showing 523648, still trying to get the game to connect to servers.

ok guys i solved my disconnect issue by disabling nat in my router setttings (netgear wnr2000)


played a few games and no disconnect issues

Yeah ProCon does it, although it's a bit spam happy with the notifications.

We also got Rush/Conquest combined working too

I'm sure you changed a setting on your router that sorted your connection issues out, but I highly doubt it was disabling NAT

actually, if you're on Vista/7, then IPv6 takes care of the need for NAT

The game appears to be broken for me. It seems all the fun has vanished :/


Doesn't matter what server I join, and what class I play I just haven't been able to have any enjoyment in this game since the weekend. Granted I've been in a pretty foul mood in general through being tired and having a crap start to the week at work. But I swear playing this game it feels like I have a huge neon sign above my head which flashes saying "shoot this guy first"
