But why such a drab disgusting looking steering wheel ?

Seriously, its what you will see when you look down 90% of the time, and bentley sell this for £190k brand new.

Whats the world coming to when companies who can afford to lose some slight profit margin take such shortcuts :(

Disappointed.

It's customer specced, not Bentley, it can be two tone or wood, cowl can match either hide...etc.

You dont half start some bizarre threads.....

There's nothing wrong with the steering wheel. Given the amount of bling in the interior you'd hardly want an even more bling steering wheel. In fact, it sets the interior off very nicely with its simplicity.

And if you're talking about the colour - you can spec any colour or design that you want. That's just down to the owner's taste (or lack of it). And lets be realistic here - the type of people who buy these cars aren't exactly 'normal' people with 'normal' tastes.

I prefer classy, restrained, effortless.

The steering wheel is a monstrosity though :(

Restrained, yes, but I fail to see how that word could be used positively unless it used to have anger management issues. I dunno, the whole car just seems tooo... vertical. I see elegant as something that will cradle you, not just fall away in front of your eyes. Effortless I agree with, doesn't seem like much effort went into the elegant part.

Apples and Oranges I suppose, the exterior is very Bentley but the whole car doesn't look a stone throw away from it's predecessors which you expect to have things a bit more angular and ergonomically challenged.

It's a good thing they mentioned it has a space saver spare wheel, I wouldnt have been interested otherwise.
