I see lots of opinion and no common sense or technical merit, please get back to helping the OP

Although I agree that you should go Quad, But not for the silly reasons mentioned about intel. Just because the price difference between 3x and 4x is minimal. So why go 1 core down, for a tiny price margin.

You could sell your mobo, processor and RAM and try and make £95

As for £395 you could get

Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail + Assassin's Creed II Game

Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3R Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard

Patriot Sector 5 G Series 4GB (2x2GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz Dual Channel

Delivered

Could also look into selling Assassins Creed 2 for a bit of cash back

Hi

The Four instead of Three makes sense though the AMD is still an option.

Will keep an eye on prices and any bundles while get the last bit of cash together.

Thanks for the feedback, certainly possible and with good frame rates even without a top spec CPU.

Cheers
