Pff, why give themselves more work later when they could've just done the damn thing properly the first time. The browser is dreadful and the ingame chat is slow, unresponsive, broken and seems like it was done by a visiting work experience kid on his coffee break.

Maybe so but this takes the cake for stuff that should have been learned from the previous games. Ive had all the BF games on launch day and the least problematic was 1942, it had a small zero day patch but was a brilliant experience. Can't remember having may issues with nam either come to think of it.


Id love el-alemain to make a return for bad company 2, would be a perfect tank battle map, though somehow i doubt this engine is capable of a map of that scale. :(
 
FT any chance of making the reserved slots on the OcUK BF server to 2 instead of 4? I always see the server full with 28 and you guys already in.

Think it might help as it seems there is nearly always an admin there and compared to the amount of OcUK'ers and actual admins on the servers 2 should be enough surely?

Just a suggestion dude, wanted to join many times now but stuck on 28/32 and its full :(

Either that or is there a way of having the reserve realise that an admin is playing and free up a reserve slot for a public?

Meh I dunno.

I don't think we need reserved slots tbh. I'll take myself off tonight when I get in and onto ProCon.
 
Standard shotgun + slugs + magnum ammo = pure ownage. There's nothing more fun than rushing up the hill to second point on Valparasio, taking a round to the chest from the lighthouse, spinning around and putting a shotgun shell through the sniper's face from 500m :D
 
Hopefully I will have a better game tonight last night was a joke stupid useless computer makes me wanna hurt it but its made of steel so my foot wont go through this one so easy :D

I am level 14 now and just a few points from unlocking magnum ammo then i will be a real shotgun whore

Yeah. I've been toying with the idea of removing them for a while to be honest. I'll log into the gamepanel and do it now :)

Yeah get em gone French, I’ve tried to connect a few times with it being stuck on 28.

We say wait 5 mins for a space, if one doesn’t come up we’ll send warning and then kick someone from a long distance country as they tend to lag up servers.

Yeah, it's fair enough. I just don't like kicking people to make room. It always ****ed me off when it happened to me in the past :p

It's annoying that the slots don't work properly really. Pretty much all other servers I've ran allow me to set, say, 32 players max normally but then 4 extra reserved slots. The joys of us not really having proper control over the servers I guess :/

Normal mode / No raping (although it no doubt happens when admins aren't there)/ FF on / Streaming to PsB / UK 11th Ranked server / 129th Globally / Crashes Randomly to allow you to get a beer :)

Anyone else play Recon and really, really like the VSS? Got a decent scope on it so it snipes reasonably well (needs 2x headshot though, but is full auto, so not a problem), and then in close, unscoped (as long as you are good at judging the aim point) its like an engineers SMG.

Its gotta be my favorite gun by far.

Still cant get the hang of Medic LMG's though, was having a go with them yesterday, damn things kick and skip all over the place, using iron sights, Red Dot and 4x ACOG. Couldnt hit a damn thing.

Also have developed a bad habit from using the VSS of hitting reload after each kill, and that's a really really bad idea with an LMG. :(

Thats why we look on procon and kick people in long distance countries, at the end of the day UK based people are more important to uk servers. I know its not the best attitude but i think its the most fair.

LOAM have you actually tried that? i had a play with the mix last nite but couldn't really get it to work?
