My New wee lilttle bully boy!!

The parents are really good specimens of the breed and I guess if they're show dogs that's what you're really looking for. :) I don't however really like the look of the dogs or agree with the whole breed standard thing anyway.

I've just learned something - I always thought these were the illegal 'pit bull' terriers but I've been proved wrong! This is a bull terrier, right?

I've known a few to be a bit frightening (their 'playing' can be a bit boisterous) but I usually manage to make friends with most dogs.

Funny looking things. But I'm all for variety. They remind me of Bill Syke's dog Bullseye from Oliver Twist.

The breed is way to mis-formed for me, a seriously different face from a wolf. At least the little one has a coloured parent, less chance of being deaf.

Please no trolling, no Bull Terrier hating..no uneducated killer dog remarks..

obviously no one read the first part of my post.

.. and the clitorus remark.. really.. is there any need for that? thought this was a family forum!

OT - why do pedigree dogs have such stupid names?

All pedigree dogs from accredited breeders have "stupid" names because that way people can track the breeds lineage. The breeders have an afix such as Ragnorok or Kilacabar etc, then they will be given a "show name" representing the dog and its breeder. Panthro for instance tells us that you where a fan of a kids TV cartoon in the 80's..

On the streets people cant wait to come over and stroke my English Bull Terriers. They are a bit of a Marmite dog granted, you either love there look or you hate it... but I have owned bullies for over 25 years and 90 percent of the people I meet love them...

strange.. a little bit of a nasty reception!!

With regards to my bullies,....I'll be sure to post elsewhere in the future.

All the best!!

And when you meet the 10% that don't, do you rant and bawl in a similar fashion?

Predictable, Scott throws his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get the love he wanted for his butt ugly dogs.

By the way, kids learn about clitorises in primary school these days and they're crucially important to families! So a family forum should encourage such discussion.
