Just how is this allowed to pass ?

Surely this counts as being an accessory to the crime ?

If I were to run a - say - nursery and actively conceal the regular and repeated abuse of children by a member of my staff I would be in court, rightly, for not reporting this to the police.

How, just how, is the pope (and all the other bishops and priests) not facing criminal charges ?

Burn all the churches to the ground before these evil people can traumatise any more people.

i read on another forum that, they are probably not even catholic but believe in another religion some ancient religion or something. Where they believe that they have been cleared of their morels and such have to rape children etc. But this is not restricted to the catholic church at all, christian church is just as bad, as well as islam. Actually muslims openly marry underage girls against their wishes.

Many a evil hidden behind the curtin of righteousness and justice.

But i think they are just evil to the core and specifically make choices in their life to put them selves in a position where they can rape children. Which are the worst kind of rapists.

Also 200 is a low estimate, these people who abuse children for like 40 years, often with the aid of sedative and hypnotic drugs, often the children don't even realize until 20 years later. Probably more in the region of 1000s or 10000s over that period of time. As well as repeated incidents.

They don't face charges because the abuse goes right up to the top and within government and police and all areas of authority are complicite and often work together.

You see evil people are attracted to positions of authority and power, that is why most of the people in the government/police/cps/council etc are evil. (my opinion)

Are they now, what do you base this opinion on?

personal experience.

Also it should be obvious that evil people will be drawn towards positions of authority/power especially when such positions holds some kind of trust with the other people, as then that trust can be exploited.

To think that everyone within the gov/police/authority are good people is idealistic and much more difficult to believe.

Power makes good people evil

The article uses the word "scandal" five times. There's also a distinct lack of any evidence within, "allegedly molested" isn't really the same as "molested". Poor writing. Doubtless a terrible crime, but still shocking journalism.

groen, you're coming across as an idiot. Spewing forth a passage of incoherent venom then tagging "my opinion" onto the end isn't a sensible way to communicate anything besides that you belong on the ignore list.

Amazing how some can slam one particular religion but seemingly all is quiet when another is rife with paedophiles.

Because they run the most powerful Christian church in the world, have lots of money, and lots of power.

Don't worry , the Pope's written a pastoral letter so it's all ok.

Perhaps because Catholicisms reputation for paedophilia has been around for a very long time, whereas the anti-Muslim stuff is still fairly new(sworthy).
