Haha yeah but if you knew him you'd know, he is a good friend but he has a really bad side.

So I asked him today to get the webcam back because I lost mine and since it doesn't work on her computer I'll take it off him. He moaned saying he can't take it back if he already gave her it, then his gf said just tell her it's your mates and you need it back. She said I knew you shouldn't of given it to her. Then he changed subject/stopped talking about it. An hour later he was asking me where do I think mine is and saying oh yours was a good one too wasn't it.

Later on tonight I asked his gf on msn if he wants to sell me it went something like this...

They haven't replied since. Here's what I think...

Scenario 1# My webcam is missing for some other reason.
Scenario 2# They are in on it together. They will give me some old webcam.
Scenario 3# He did give this girl his old webcam but also he stole mine but his gf doesn't know about it.

I noticed she said it was her mates and he told me it's from the old PC in shed. Unless that PC was her mates old PC.

Have anyone of your friends stolen from you? I have seriously searched high and low and nobody else has been in my room.

Interesting, I think you should keep talking about it, if he ain't got it he'll just think your annoyed but if he has got it he'll secretly have to deal with his guilt, also say i was going to buy a new webcam and give you my old one anyway, super guilt trip!!!!

That way you look like a even better friend and if he doesn't have it!
 
Hahaha yeah good idea! I will see if his gf does get it back... On top of that when iamdjdz has sent me his webcam I could say I just bought it and it cost me £50 then he will feel guilty for costing me all that money. Then again if someone callous enough to steal from a friend he prob's don't have morals! (that's if he did..)

I am starting to feel a little guilty for accusing him but meh it's human nature considering the circumstances
 
Got the box with the S/N on it?

Offer to help make it work, go to his g/f's house with him, if the S/N doesn't match or it's a different web-cam, help make it work. If the S/N does match, take back the web-cam then steal his g/f and have sex with her right there in front of him.
 
A close friend of mine once stole £90 in cash from my house. You just cant trust some people. Don't let him in you're house again imo, i didn't, or if you do keep a close eye on him.

not quite the same as your situation but a few months ago my eldest invited one of his "friends" over after school for some dinner.

Apparenlty this kid spent most of the time telling my eldest that he's father was in prison and that it was cool to steal cars! My wife wasn't to impressed and when she decided that enough was enough and took the kid home she found that this kid has been taking my youngests toy cars and was hiding them in his coat pocket. :mad:

Never did like that kid, thought he was a bit of a chav!

Yo djdz I got the webcam this morning, it's not a bad one neither! Thanks a lot man I didn't know it was on that could sit ontop of an LCD. Only problem is though is I can't find the Windows 7 LVS pack you mentioned.

When I go to downloads it justs comes up as Vista for the most recent, and when I click Windows 7 support it takes me to an FAQ
 
He stole a web cam and then had the nerve to asked who it works?

Ask him you'll beable to get the CD for it if he tells you what the make and model is. If it's the same report him to the police and get some new freinds.
