Out of all the pics you posted, he "looks" the best. They are scary dogs, mainly because of the way their eyes are set, but as long as they are trained well and have good temperments, there is nothing wrong with these dogs. Its really up to the owners to make sure that they train their animals well.

I actually like pit bull terriers (banned in this country), but the owner has to take full responsibility in disciplining and training them. Pitbulls are very loyal and with the right owners are not dangerous.

One thing that annoys me is when people allow themselves to be ruled by animals. With almost any animal, you have to show them whose boss and keep up good discipline. This especially applies to strong dogs.

My favourite breed is the greyhound - super athletic, built for speed, good looking and when at home, they are very lethargic, so won't end up destroying your home - perfect.

C'mon guys the OP's genuinely really proud of his new dog, whether or not you think it's ugly is a fair view. The above posts are a bit below the belt. If you want to say why you don't like the dog there's nothing wrong with that but consistantly making fun of the dog or his owner's not fair. Just because they don't look as cute as say the cats in the kitten thread doesn't mean they're not someones pride and joy, and part of their family...
