Hi

Took the following picture whilst working in Paris:

and am pretty happy with the composition, but am struggling a bit with the post processing (never been my strong point!).

This is as far as I've got:

I would like to get this printed out and possibly framed so would like it looking as good as possible :).

I don't have a RAW but if anybody is willing to help I can send the full size JPG.

Thanks
David

This is where Photoshop CS5's Content Awareness could come in handy.
Here's my little noobish attempt with your jpeg, I'm not sure if I can replicate it on the original as it'll take some time and even at lower resolution, I'm already struggling with the cloning.

Here's what I did:

1)Square cropped as the left side tree and the right side boarder is in the way.
2)Upped the contrast by 40, upped the brightness by 10.
3)Add a 10% warming orange filter to warm the image a little, especially in the clouds.
4)Clone out that lamp post smack bang in the middle - this took the most time.

I'll give it a try later this evening if I have some time, why not up the original full res so other more competent PS users can help?

Will have another go later with the full res shot, once I've got some work done!!! Left thte bit at the edge on purpose to try to create a 'burnt' edge effect. Didn't really work so I'll change that at a later date. Anyways must get back to work....

Note: CLEAN THAT SENSOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

I gave it a go, dont know if there any good, Got home this morning after an operation and my heads still spinning :(

Oooooo I like that monochrome one Dan. You may be the winner here :D.

Edit: Can you post a link to the full size version? Want to send it off to Photobox for printing :).

Do you have an e-mail I can send them to Amoeba?

I've done another version too.

In the first I went a bit mad with surface blur to remove the noise, which worked but its lost some detail in the trees.

I'll send over both and you can choose which ever you prefer.

Bumpy - Famas if you still have these can you email them to me at
