The 1.6t SRi was a sweetspot. Shame it got discontinued.

But at the end of the day I think the Astra VXR has the best exhaust note and they are slowly becoming available for 10k used now...

Ah, used for 8.5k, that sounds about right. I was going to say a brand new Corsa 1.6T SRI for 8.5k is a hell of a bargin.

A Remus equipped Astra VXR certainly makes a lot of noise ;)
 
I like the VXR's there quite nice little cars. Its horses for courses. Some people would never dream of buying a new car, or spending 14k on a relatively small car, when they could have a 2 year old luxury motor with more toys etc..but were all different.

For the most part I buy new cars, and I like small cars...

I have the RS Clio200 Cup which I love. I could have bought a " year old Audi BM or whatever, but some of us like small sporty motors...

So let your brother enjoy his decision, I think he'll have a lot of fun!!

If you are getting some tail action on the go when you are out for a hoon then I don't want to be anywhere near you when that happens.

We have some excellent roads up here and I have some fantastic fun in my FF car. But I guess that can't be possible because you can't have fun in a front wheel drive car.

I'm doing the VXR Track Day soon at Croft but that won't be any fun either I suppose?
