My current wheels have corroded under the polished rim and I mentioned this to Rare-rims, who I bought the wheels from 3 years ago.

As a result hey have offered me a great deal on some new wheels! Can't complain with that for customer service

Now I just need to decide:

Car:

Options (sorry about the pic size)

Rota Force - Ive asked about silver
Bronze

Black (red maybe tape and hence removable)

Another option is the Rota Grids I now have, probably without the polished rim though.

Im indecisive so thoughts would be great

Cheers
Simon

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get your current wheels powdercoated in a gunmetal grey without the polished lip? Or are you just looking for an excuse for a change of look?

I have considered it, but comparing new with recondition plus the additional hassle it doesnt seem worth it. Infact the offer is so good that it's probably no cheaper. But yeah a change of look could be nice?

It goes without saying that there will be no centre caps fitted!

They will look good in bronze, lower it a bit though.

I have just picked up a set of Koni yellows to go on. Stock height or -20mm via an adjustable spring perch. To be honest when I found that pic I thought it looked high, don't know why.

The car is already low enough, it just has big arches. I don't want to lower it ideall as I use it on country lanes most the time and lowering also affects the bump steer curves (especially at the rear).

A better pic of the car 'stance':

I love the Rota Torque shape, copies of a Weds Sport wheel I believe.

Bronze too, just has to be bronze on grey/silver IMO.

Wheels arrived today, nice and fast service from Rare-rims.

Better than white or black I think. Just a shame they don't do a gunmetal.

Is it just me or do the new wheels make it look slightly higher?
Looks great though :)

Dunno - you might be right. Bearing in mind it's been jacked up it might need a quick drive to settle it.

Maybe Ill drop it 20mm when I fit the konis.

Julian is an absolute legend. Popped over to their place last week, proper down to earth bloke, infact his whole team were really helpful and friendly there.

Sorted me out an awesome deal. Even showed me his track teg, beastly :D

Good choice of wheel btw.
