I'm currently running with an XFX 5770 which is quite decent and can run most games at good setting, but when i start to up the filters AA/AF it struggles...so I'm after something with a bit more bite.

What would you guys recommend: another 5770 for xfire or try and sell my current 5770 on the MM and go for a 5850?

Also would my Be Quiet! 450 Watt psu be able to cope with xfire 5770 or a single 5850

Thanks,
Technics

If you have the £££ then i would invest in another psu if you are thinking of going xfire, but before deciding on gfx card i would wait and see what happens with the new nvidia cards

Thanks for the quick reply, the calculator says 437 watts so mine should cope just fine :)
Might keep my eye on the MM for a 5770 going cheap

What is the power output on the 12V rail of your PSU?

I'm not sure tbh, it's one of the original Dark power psu's by Be Quiet!

I guess it would be stupid of me not to give it a few days given the imminent release of the Nvidia cards, no way i will be able to afford one. Hopefully might see a few more ati cards pop up on the MM

No, it wouldn't be stupid at all. Pound is remaining strong recently (comparing to previous months) and it's good time to get any Radeon 5*** atm. New 5770s are sold for nearly the same money as in the USA.

I dont think people are going to be selling their 5770s over the new nvidia cards. The only thing worth upgrading to from the 5770 is the 5850.
