nvidia pax east live blog

So you waited 6 moths for Fermi to be released, and then you bought ATI hours before the actual release. Clever.

I don't see an issue with waiting to see what both sides have to offer before making your decision, it seems to make a decent amount of sense really. I guess the power hungry, hot and overpriced Nvidia offer wasn't what he was hoping for.

The fact is he can't have really known for sure what any of the performance/pricing figures are going to be because of the NDA. He could have had a guess at it but then what is the point of waiting 6 months until a few hours before he knew for sure - Why not wait another 24hrs? It just seems a bit mad to me to make a decision you've been waiting 6 months to make based on speculation. Perhaps he was never planning to buy one in the first place???

Shock news, Nvidia kills crates full of chickens at PAX east and then fries them on a red hot fermi heatsink

Informative and highly interesting, just like everything to do with FERMI has been for the past 6 months .

Ashley McBroom: The place is rounding out...everyone screams "CRANK THAT S#!T UP!"

I just can't help but feel that it's all rather tacky and horribly American. It's a graphics card *sigh*.
