really? I already said that I didn't want people slagging what I did/have said off and you go and do it. As I said, you don't have a full understanding of my situation so please shut it. You said that my attitutde would make you want to see me walk, well this is what I was very close to doing yday and could possibly still do it, it's no skin off my nose, I'm not going to stay somewhere where I'm not happy.

You don't want people criticising you? What a surprise. Maybe you need to realise that we work for money, and if you need the money you will work for it.
When you move out of your parents you will realise. You think that the rest of us have a duty to keep you when you have walked out of a perfectly good job? You seem morally bankrupt as well as emotionally crippled.

No offence obviously. :D

No offence to anyone on this fabulous forum, but its the op's life.
If he wants to quite his job so be it, who are we to condem the man.
All i can offer is advice and this advice is:-
* be flexible:- be able to change with the circumstances
* do something you enjoy, or find a way to be paid for something you enjoy.
* take risks, yes sometimes they dont pay of but its the risk that brings you to life.l
* get qualifications, this is a no-0brianer the better the qualifiacation the more likele for a future

in sort plan ahead and d something you enjoy .....

How do you know your not going to be like this in your next job after the initial few months passes.

Thats work im afraid, its no holiday.

think that the rest of you will keep me? Are you actually serious. The answer to this would be no, I assume you mean by claiming benefits etc. I have been out of work before when leaving school and I refused to claim benefits and if I'm jobless again, I can safely say that I will refuse again.

I've had 3 jobs and this is the only job that I've not been happy in. I didn't say it was a holiday, I know it's tough but again, you have no idea what pressure my job is putting on me.

Waaaaaah!

You wouldn't understand how hard it is for ME!

FFS.

EDIT: no offence

what?!

this is down to you at the end of the day. many people including myself would rather a job to enjoy than a job that pays more.

Great if you can get a job with enjoyment, but if you can't... tough! Just work to pay the bills like most people.

If thats the case then I guess your within your rights, but its not without its concequences, however if you manage to get around them fair play.

1) You will be with any substatial income until you get your new job, take into concideration working 1 months notice before pay, make sure you got enough money to survice - Unless you have income from somewhere else

2) Your next employers will ask why you left your previous job after 6 months, and ask you what you have been doing since then, they will look at is in a "well would he do the same here" scenario

3) You may find it hard to find another job that you like which wont make you feel like crap. depending on the type of job as the good jobs are saturated at the moment, and not many people are letting go.

Good luck, but stop asking for people's opinions if you can't take the opinions you don't like.
You've made it quite clear that you only want to hear opinions that are sympathetic to your situation.
So why did you start this thread?

oooooh, edited...nice!

I started this thread because I would like advise, isn't it clear? it is to most people....

same could be said for opionis that can be seen to cause distree
i.e "if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all2 but i think people are getting to worked up in the whole leaving a job, i think people should be focused it aiming the op in the direction of a new career path that he may nejoy.
but that just my own personal oppion

You have stated that you don't want to hear from people that disagree with you!
So who are you asking for advice from?
i have no idea im seeing double of everything, but what i m trying to convey is that what is doen is done and their is no going back, the op has handed his notice in.
the least we can do as human beng is to direct hte op in a direction that is beneficial to himself and anyone who is dependant upon him

Seems like you don't realise the fundamentals of economy doesn't it?

I'm young and my view on life is to live like tomorrow is going to be your last day, money isn't everything and I know that strong enough to survive on my own if the worst happens.

I would appreciate it if you didn't post anymore comments in this thread, I'm not going to argue on OCUK (like you), that's just sad.
