Fifa 10 / Football games on PC any good? or do I need an X Box 360

As title really, haven't played football games for years.

Never played on an X Box ever! just wondering how the PC Football games fair against the X Box 360.
 
To be fair i the pro evo games ive played on pc have been fairly good, last couple of fifa games i tried were using a fairly dated engine which meant they looked fairly ropey even compared to the cosole version.
 
I bought a PS1 within a week of release, haven't owned another since, always been on the PC playing strategy / online rpg's.

I don't know much about the latest consoles, kinda depressing knowing you have superior hardware in a PC yet an X Box 360 plays games better.

Guess I'll have to get an X Box then. :(
 
It's a **** console port Nelly, nothing wrong with the PC hardware, the game is just designed for consoles and not PC.
 
Consoles are better for multiplayer (in the same room) and a game like fifa is rubbish on your own.... (well i think it is anyway)

Would be great if someone released a Football Game for the PC with DirectX 11 specifically designed for the PC - I live in hope.

Probally abit daft of me buying an XBox just to play a football game.

Got one or two football games on Mame ;) All Mame games play exact to the Arcades, pity coin-op companys went mad at the websites readily letting people download the roms. :(
 
Play some racing games on the 360 as well? Forza, dirt, NFS?

Would for having mates round as well as Fifa. :)


I usually use consoles just for sports & racing games.
 
Unfortunately the PC version of fifa is far more comparable to the PS2 version rather then the PS3/360 version.

If you buy it on PC you'll pretty much be playing the last gen game.

For me pro evo soccer 6 is still the best footie game on pc, plus theres a lot of mods and updates out there for it to make it better.

There one that lets you have the fifa commentry on it.
 
Well I went and bought myself an Xbox 360 Elite, chose Just Cause 2 Limited Edition + Fifa 10, then bought Fight Night Round 3 for £5, ordered Forza 3 for £15.

Can anyone reccomend me some games that are Exclusive to Xbox 360 or are better on the Xbox 360 compared to PC in terms of playability?? :)
