***Official OCUK Deadlift Challenge***

I had a go with 144 kilos .5 of a kilo heavier than my body weight, I think benny is safe from me knocking him off of his perch. Unofficially 28 will get a recording when I get my laptop back, hopefully I can better 28.

Well done SPW, can really see that fatigue setting in!

Cheers, I'd said beforehand that anywhere around the 20 mark and I'd be happy so I'm fairly happy with that but I can't help feeling that I should be able to get a bit nearer to 30 if I do it again. The 1.5xBW I've got no real ambitions for beyond being able to lift it once or twice, it'll be my heaviest deadlift to date at that point anyway.

Hard work isn't it!

No ****!!!!!

I won't beat your 45, but I want to hit 40 so I can hit 4 tonnes too! :D

I'm glad that impressed someone, I thought it was crap lol. It done my asthma the world of good, unless my body weight drops I can't see me bettering that.

Dude that's over 4 tonnes in 60s! It's not to be sniffed at! Don't put yourself down buddy! :(

grr you swines, ive been training to recomp and lose a bit of weight for my Florida holiday in November (so i can fit on the rides :D ) .. but now ive got the bug and im switching to ME/DE to get my DL back to where it should be for this!

Had my second attempt at 1xBW today:

Weight: 90kg
Bar Weight: 20kg + 70kg plates
Reps Achieved: 24 (if you count the last one)

I've improved on my last attempt, but my grip completely went 10 seconds from the end: I got a big cramp in my right forearm. The last rep was pretty shoddy because of this.

good lifting everyone!

35 reps @ 90kg saturday morning

plates are 20|10|5 each side (obv 20kg oly bar)

i was hungover as **** so reckon i can squeeze out a few more next week
