The Charms, when dismantled turn into Rings, so as long as you have 1 of each Charm you can get one of that Element's Ring (then upgrade for the other 2 rings in that Element).

I Have created a Spreadsheet with a list of accessories, weapons and names of Catalysts needed to upgrade them.

Might be useful, if you don't own the guide, and want to keep a note of what you have/need to get the full set. (You don;t need to own all at once, just once in your save file so you can make a note of items on here, before you sell them)

Ah yes, just before the final boss (chapter 13) you do get a chance to go back to Chapter 11 or 12 (I am fairly sure floaty dude was a dudette :) ).

Edit: Looking at the list, none of the rings or charms sound familiar, just the brooches. I could well have skipped past all of them!

People with the guide:

I need the following Catalysts:

5 x Dark Matter (Will have to beat some ShaoLong gui)

5 X Adamantite

Apart from buying them, can you tell me which enemies drop them, and with what frequency?

I've just done exactly the same so i'm just checking myself, i have so far accumulated.. 1 dark matter! yey

If you dont need your genji gloves you can upgrade them and dismantle them into trapezohedrons.
The growth egg dismantles into a platinum ingot and ultracompact reactor which is more helpful than it is once you have maxed stats.
Tetradic tiara dismantles into a shrouding talisman and sprint shoes (thats 2 items that you may need)

Make sure you upgrade them to max before dismantling

I'm unsure what rewards you get for dismantling weapons that aren't leveled to max so i can't comment on dismantling the weapons you make to ultimate level without upgrading them to max. Thats all i can find from dismantling, theres nothing from doing missions again since all the secondary rewards are just basic components.

Sanctum templars drop pervoskite 5%, not helpful though as if i remember correctly there only in the bit just before the final boss you can't re-do after going through it, so you won't encounter them.

Thats it, i can't really find anything else. Apart from scarletite which drops from the sacrifice in the last few areas.

I haven't found anywhere that lists which creatures drop which items. Also a lot of gamefaqs stuff refers to the Japanese game (that came out last year) and, as such, some translations are wrong or Japanese names are used, which doesn't help me.

Also I am too tight to buy the guide myself :)

Perovskite - Sanctum Templar - 5%

Uranite
- Havoc Skytank (Palum Polum)-100%
- Mission 29 - Faltering Faith
- Mission 30 - Syphax, the Insidious
- Mission 36 - Dark Deliverance
- Mission 57 - What's Yours is Brine

Adamantite - Can only be bought for 220k i think :)

Can't fight templars anymore and those are the rewards you get are for doing the missions for the first time, doing the missions a 2nd time normally nets you either bomb shells, cores or other components.

From the looks of it, except the dark matter your better off going back to eden and farming that lone adamantoise for platinum ingots to buy everything..... (might even get a few trapezohedron drops, lol)

Im so glad i started doing this while i still had adamantortoises left, theres a great area in the archlytte steppe with a save point 2 x adamatortoises and 3 x adamanchelids, i can batter them all in about 10 mins total usually netting a platinum ingot or 2 and a few gold dusts. im getting all cash, weapons and accessories before i even bother spawing log gui's and such

You'll still need to spam kill the shaolong gui for dark matter though, they have a lovely habit of: ultima, stomp, bay, quake, stomp.. repeat after their hp drops quite low.. Only way i can cope is if i manage to land slow on them, otherwise im just curing non stop.

3 dark matter done now lol. I wouldn't reccomend fighting the long gui for anything, except the trophy unless you seriously need trapezohedrons (5% as opposed to 1% on adamantoise) They aren't worth the effort.

I am using 1 of each Synergist shroud then just hammering him with Sab/Sab/Sab until I get Slow/Imperil/De-shell/de-protect on him. Then I heal up (by now taken 2 hits), synergist to make everyone have En-Fire, rav/rav/rav till he staggers and hits 999% then Com/Com/Rav to finish him.

The 2 Coms are Fang and Lightning and they both have Genji Gloves on.
