Problem is, it's only marginally cheaper than the 5970 and these days, single/dual GPU makes no real difference.
It's like the AMD dual core snobbery a few years ago.
I disagree that single/dual GPU makes no difference when claiming the "fastest single GPU" crown, the clue is in the phrase. However, when claiming "fastest graphics card", then it makes no difference.
ATI clearly have the bang for buck crown and the fastest card, but there is no denying (apart from RavenXXX2) that the 480 is the fastest GPU.
Does anyone know if there will be a dual-GPU Fermi based card released? Or is it unmanufacturable due to heat/power etc?
