Fifa 10 - Get rid of Man Utd from the game!

Just tried to play 7 different games in a row, each time a different opponent, each time they choose Man Utd! Whats the point in having any other teams in the game if everyone just chooses Man Utd! :mad:

Every day its the same, havent played any other team for ages!
/rant!

I found most opponents chose Barcelona/Real Madrid. Every team is beatable though, so no problems there, just dull I guess playing against the same teams.

i know how u feel, the vast majority of people play the big teams over and over again, i tend to pick goodsmaller teamsfor example, if someonegoes manu/chelsea/arsenal ill go villa/tottenham/mancity and the with other leagues, i twnd to more with smaller teams than te big ones as they r so over scripted with their 40yards scissors kicks lol and outside the boot from the corner flag.

Lol people get annoyed at me for always playing as liverpool

When i do chose another team thou it is Valencia or Athletico Madrid their my top 3 teams in the game all good agasint UTD too especially valencia due to the pace

Agreed, I yawn when I play and people ALWAYS picked Utd or Barca. Just more of an incentive to own them up!

Doesnt bother me, Uniteds midfield has no pace in Fifa 10 so is easily over run, I am a United fan, and in the manager mode the first thing I did was sell sell Scholes, Giggs, Valencia, Gibson, O'shea, Van Der sar, Berbatov, Tosic, Owen, Evans, Foster and Neville over the first two seasons.

In came- Subotic, Ballotelli, Hazard, Muller, Santon, Hamsik (who I bought in the first season for something like 10 million he has been voted best player in the league two seasons on the trot and is worth £40 odd million now) a new right back, goal keeper and another right winger whos names I cant remember off the top of my head right now.

It basically means I have a team full of pace where it matter (Up front, wings and full backs) quality in the midfield (Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves, Hamsik, and some youth player I cant remember), three top quality strikers who I can pair with an attacking midfielder or a winger playing off them, and its great.
I have real problems If I select United to play with online and it uses the standard line up, as its such a slow side.

In the end I refused to play against Chelsea. I'd spend time practising my build up play, trying to capitalise on mistakes and find a way through, only to find that Cech would save everything I threw at him.

At the same time my opponent would have no trouble beating VDS at all at the other end.

Sod that, EA need to patch in some balancing for the keepers, it's a joke.

Yeah Cech is quite annoying to get around. I have to resort to boring pass ins to get past him. Makes for a boring game

I agree that the keepers should be more balanced because we don't have control over them (essentially). Although every keeper can be easily chipped if you got the skillz :cool:

It's just some of the keepers are fudging annoying like Almunia who will spontaneously rush out of his goal like his arse is on fire.

Well it's just that when i'm playing against someone, I don't want the AI to constantly come to their rescue if i'm giving them a good arse kicking.

I can batter them all with my Bundesliga ultimate team

Messi et al can't get past Westermann, Mertesacker, Fritz or Pander.

A lot of people play as Man Utd because Rooney is an olympic gymnast in FIFA 10, able to score from any distance or off any crappy delivery within the box.

but doesnt he do that in real life as well? i think that realism for me.

on the serious side, everyone picks the same few teams (utd, chelsea, barca, real, inter) on fifa anyway, thats why i given up online fifa.
