Suspected suicide bombings in Moscow

It's not suspected, they've confirmed that two women blew themselves up, apparently they could be from the north caucasus, I'm guessing but I think that means Chechnya and we all know Russia and them have been having a huge amount of problems for the past ten years or so!
 
I'm suprised they didn't catch them, given it's in Moscow and the Russians are normally a bit twitchy :p.

Was only a matter of time until we saw the next attack tbh! Question is when will be the next one in London...

Chechen's have form for doing so in at least two previous large scale terrorist attacks - the Moscow theatre siege and at Beslan secondary school number one.

I'd be fairly sure that it's just you, women trying to kill me doesn't sound appealing at all. In point of fact anyone trying to kill me isn't good from my perspective.

I hope that 38 is the final death toll and that there are no more incidents in Russia but it's a pretty shocking attack.

Not really, they never have and probably never can calm down, too many thousands of years of history for that. We just don't hear about it that often because our press doesn't bother reporting on it unless it's a big event like today.
 
Yeah I suppose, just hope this isn't going to be another campaign like the flat bombings and just a one off incident.
 
They must have had a lot of balls to hit Lubyanka - right under the FSB's nose. I expect a massive military offensive in Chechnya very soon.

This is more to do with their ongoing war in chechnya than anything else.
 
There was a bombing when i was in Rostov on Don in 2002, this is the regional government center for the Caucaus area. Whats shocking is they showed the dead bodies on the News at lunchtime in graphic detail. They thought it might be terrorists, but it turned out to be mafia related.

problem is russia is so brutal in chechnya that it gives the mad mulla's more influence over the idiots who blow themselves up.
