I think because it has Diet Coke in it. Although depending on where you go anything other than straight vodka may be considered a bit effeminate. Not that I care too much, if I like it I'll drink it although I might get the jokes in first just to deflate the bar room wags.
Peach schnapps or more specifically Archers is a drink that tends to be marketed for girls, it's a very soft and sweet tasting drink. However you're right something like Goldschlager or other varieties of schnapps are thought of as less "girly".
I'm sure I drink a lot of drinks that could be considered "girly" from time to time - just drinking one thing all the time would bore me so I like to mix it up, that bit of variety keeps it fresh.
If it's nice I drink it. He'll if it's got any sort of alcohol content and I'm in the mood I will drink it

Because schnaps is a strong white spirit. Archers/peach schnaps is schnaps diluted down with a load of sickly tasting peach syrup.

Why is it a girly drink? Aside from the fact that most girls I know detest it, it's a drink that the Greeks drink as an apertif, often with water in it.

Most of the girls I know love the stuff (a bit too much) hence in my eyes it's a girly drink!

If you like the drink who cares. My wife, like many other women, likes chocolate and the occasion hob knob.. doesn't mean I can't have one.
I like Tia Maria.. Dark, silky and makes me feel sexy.. The drinks not too bad either!

There isn't a girly drink I enjoy.
Malibu, rose, baileys, alcopops etc. All too sweet and disgusting and drunk by a bunch of skinny indie kids who can't hold their beer and take far to long to order a sodding drink.

i just assumed it was a bit girly because i have it with diet coke rather than full fat. the full fat stuff hurts my teeth. specially the next morning, feels like i've been swishing sulphuric acid in my mouth.

vodka and lemonade

and various cocktails
however none of these compare to a nice cider and ice, recently got a thing for that olde english stuff (booo to the tax rise
) so i still retain a small amount of dignity for enjoying cider and beer.

Tokyo Ice Tea/Long Island Ice Tea (Can't really be considered girly i suppose, the amount of alcohol in these is staggering)
Do enjoy a good cocktail every now and again.

I love cocktails and I dunno if it's considered girly but I drink a lot of JD and coke.
