I wish I was a bit stronger so I could farm adamantoise for soldarite
almost completed level 9 crystariums for my main party and while I can beat them the battle takes too long for it to be worth grinding

you need vanille to have death you would not be able to beat neochu legit unless you were pretty much maxed out but he is susceptible to death so just keep at it! once you have death you should be able to get it i got it on ch13 after i gave up on the last boss
Probably not until 3 of your characters have more than 10,000 health.

Correct i dont know what solderite is? If hes talking about adamanchelids he may mean scarletite. At his level even the adamanchelids seem daunting!

mine werent at much more m8y about 6k4k5k or similar but you do need death
Not ture, I got it right after getting death spell for vanille (max health was about 8.2k). Used Fortisol & Aegisol before the battle, get about 5-6 go at spaming death before Neochu uses Screech and kills your party. Took me about 5 goes to kill him off.
I did it with 2 characters on Random Instant Chain (Stagger) IIRC, although it still took me ages to kill the little guys who were left after.
Granted it is probably as reliant on luck but having 2 characters try to get lucky with it is better odds than trying to get lucky with Death?
Both methods mean you get 4 or 5 tries before the big thing kills you.

If you have Vanilles Death spell then give it a go. If you use Snow/Fang as your Sentinel and Hope as a Med then you should be able to get a few casts off before you die a horrible death
Use a couple of shrouds before hand too.If you can kill it with the death spell then use Vanilles summon straight away to weaken the little guys that are left.

Yes, definitely. I've finished the game and am busy grinding my guys up. You won't even need to touch the other roles (other than the main 3) until well into your CP grind after the game has ended. The only one I got immediately was the first ability on Ravager for Fang so I could use her in a Ravager role (so I could get RAV/RAV/RAV).
I feel so lucky, my gf actually encourages me to play games so she can watch, she doesn't like playing but loves watching me play. I never thought i would have this convo with any gf

Her: Hummm.. Lets see how much further we can get in final fantasy!

Guys, I just started the second disk, killed that plant boss thing, but still only having 2 people in parties, do they all join back up at some point or is it always 2 per team now? Bit annoying with 2 as not much variety

They all join back up at some point, leaving you with the option of chosing 3 from the whole team and switching whenever you fancy.
