Saw it twice on my award screen (not sure about what came up on screen in combat as I was balls-deep in enemy territory, surrounded by 4 guys when they finally took me down) ... BUT my award pins didn't add up either. Shotgun efficiency x2, Combat efficiency x1, Combat excellence x 2 (plus a dog tag)... and it totalled 500 pts.

Which does look like the bug you mentioned as without the additional C.Excel it would = 500pts.

Might be a bit harsh as it wasnt a hack so much as exploiting a glitch - BadBoy was in the server and said he would issue a temp ban. I think that will put off anyone who was in the server, and him, from doing it again.
 
I came on late last night. It was actually Gornall who issued the ban as I was in game.

Tastyweat was being an absolute tool and it is our belief that he was doing it late because he thought no admins would be on. It p'd a lot of good and dedicated players off, so hence the ban.

Thanks to everyone who comes on and plays well. And, if you do come on, please don't shoot me if I am trying to plant haha

He shouldn't be doing it in the first place. Maybe a perma ban is a little harsh if its the only time he's been seen doing it but if the head admins want him gone permanently he's only got himself to blame. Besides like Badboy said, he was probably doing it because he thought he could get away with it, so chances are he'd do it when admins aren't around or when other glitches are found.

Trust me mate, there are far far more ranked serverd with pb off than with it on. Even tho our server is saying "off" its on, there is command line you put in the pb config files which running pb even tho its saying off.

EA told every1 to turn their pb off to stop CTD's, but they've forgot to tell them to turn it back on. So when people search for servers 80% of the players are still searching with pb off.

People who have punkbuster "on" suffer with low server population.

However we've just found out that we can stream punkbuster even tho the server says pb off.

I can assure you Wes we are well well aware of the risks and have been working our backsides off to make sure PB is on even tho it says its off (very confusing i know) message me on steam if you want futher info.

Remind me :P I wasn't in game at the time I dont think. Noticed the chat logs and Bad_Boy asked me to get rid.

Glitch, Hack or stats padding

tbh, I've no problem with handing out perma's to anyone knowingly abusing a glitch (unless it's a muckaround game, like a 6 player rush with people learning to fly and whatnot :)).

It's just not gravy to ruin a proper, even, epic game by abusing a glitch that Dice haven't ironed out yet. I expect sportsmanship (and Helo crashes) on our server!
 
Someone on here posted a a way to add favourites to the game server list by editing either a .txt or .dll file and I'm wondering if someone would kindly post it again please? I've tried looking through the thread but it's massive and so fast moving that it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
