Hi,I recently bought a phemon 965,And im using the stock fan,But when im idel it's 49c but when playing games it goes well up to 60c (With GTA4 it went upto 70c lol )
My vcore is set at 1.42
And do you think thats why it could be getting too hot?it's not overclocked.
Any help would be greatful :)

To hot, max temp for a 965 is 65c. Make sure your heatsink is fitted properly.

yeah (120mm in a akasa eclispe ) but thats not the problem,
I might try and buy some arctic silver 5,I used some paste i got with my HR-03 GT cooler from the graphics card,But that should not make any differance.

but don't forget its quad core, so two extra cores = more heat which needs more airflow.

just try removing the side panel

No lol i will try that now for 10mins then report back! SO what should i do if the temps are still the same? Should i upgrade my front fan to a more powerful one? the current on i have is a Akasa AK-183-L2B Amber Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan.But was think of a Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan.

To be honest, 1.42V at stock is too high - they'll run much lower than that. (1.35V if I remember correctly).

That's probably the main cause of the heat issues at the moment.
