This is good value at the moment if you need the extra attachments. Also includes the snow foam attachment, which is rare to find in a bundle.

I was going to buy a £200+ machine until a mate told me not to bother, saying that the cheaper machines do 95% of the job. So I recently bought a 2.14 for £49 (offer - normally £69) from Homebase as I didn't need all the attachments. It's done a fantastic job on my patio, drive and cars; so i gues it shows you don't have to spend a fortune.

Edit: Between the two in your OP, i'd go for the 2.91, as although more ££, I believe it a newer machine with a water cooled motor. Also heard a few -ve's about the 2.56.

The Nilfisk C120 is £89.99 at my local screwfix.

Right in my budget range! Hmmm tempting!
 
Another vote for Nilfisk, I bought a Nilfisk c120.4-6 xtra last year and its very good quality and just as well built as my dad's Stihl one (and apart from the colour) looks identical! Blasts pretty much everything off, comes with a few accessories and has an induction motor rather than the cheap universal one that come in most consumer karchers.
